Congratulations s.Oliver Contest Winners!
Another contest has officially closed and it’s time to pay credit to the lucky winners!
Looking back, the contest results are unprecedented in showing absolutely clear tendencies . s.Oliver asked the jovoto community to find the themes for 2010 and you said: Customization and Corporate Social Responsibility!
It seems that understanding these trends is inevitable for the fashion industry to gain credibility for the future. An interesting juxtaposition: the fast-lived world of fashion with the image of being superficial vs. the responsible prosumer interested in sustainability and in co-creating THEIR product!
Here’s our winning idea:
1. decuriel’s stichital fashion

Decuriel proposes a web-interface in which each s.Oliver ‘customer’ can upload their own images…
… in this particular campaign, the avatars used by each customers to represent themselves in their digital world are suggested as motifs. These figures are then stiched onto s.Oliver products – mass customization at it’s best!
This idea brings customization and digitalization in a clever relationship with s.Oliver’s brand values: authenticity and honesty…Even in times of ubiquitous digital networks ‘true’ personality is a strong asset. However, this does not longer happen along the lines of ‘virtual’ and ‘real’. Stichital fashion also appeals to the current aesthetic trend of re-interpreted handcrafts.
2. hellotommy’s Real&Responsible

In hellotommy’s proposal, s.Oliver develops its own eco-friendly label Real&Responsible, which is introduced with a line of products made from guaranteed 100% organic cotton.
3. JeskoStoetzer and Squalidsketch’s 100% Free of Child Labor

This idea saw the first-ever community cooperation between JeskoStoetzer and Squalidsketch – Jesko had the idea and Squalidsketch visualized them. It tackles another Corporate Social Responsibility issue which has been much talked about in the past decade: Child Labor in the textile industry. s.Oliver is asked to ‘pick up’ this issue and position themselves as 100% child labor free: a curageous campaign with which s.Oliver could step forward to the public.
