New Addition to the Team: Marc!

Drum roll: our not-so-latest new team member Marc.

Marc joined the team already two month ago as a Marketing and Sales Representative and has ever since engaged actively in securing new deals so that the community can work on challenging and rewarding briefings. Maybe the fact that he dived into his task so quickly and feverishly and that he was a part of the team instantly, made us forget to introduce him to you.

Now he has the opportunity to introduce himself:

Hello community, happy to finally say Hello! I am Marc and I work in client acquisition. I was born in Berlin and studied Business Management at the Freie Universität and the Technische Universität. The world of business was quite theoretical to me until I started to build up a company dealing with water dispensers next to my studies. I discovered my passion for new ideas and business and sold it after some while, ready to conquer new fields. The 24hour food delivery service I established afterwards is still up and running (www.deliver24.com). However, I could not resist the offer of the Deutsche Bank to work for them in Luxembourg as a Business Manager. My time there was challenging and intensive and taught me a lot, but after a while I discovered the shallow sides of the whole business and missed working on a good and brand-new idea. On top of all I missed Berlin and life in this vibrant and booming city. So I turned my back on Luxembourg and was so lucky to meat Bastian in Berlin. He told me about jovoto and I was hooked up instantly – what a brilliant idea! The concept of jovoto made perfect sense to me and I realized that that’s what I’ve been waiting for: working for a product again I can believe in, a product with potential. Even better was the prospect of working with a young and creative team.

Retrospective of my first two month at jovoto I am extremely happy I made this decision. Working at jovoto is a great opportunity and the idea behind it is the best one I came across for quite some time. On top, working with the jovoto-guys is an extra bonus… I am looking forward to get to know the community a little better in the future and can only say: happy to be here!
