Yesterday, on “salad-Tuesday”, it was Nina‘s turn to pamper us with a salad lunch. It had been one of those days where we had started fantasizing about stealing beers from the fridge just about after breakfast time … it was blazing hot, air standing completely still in our office. It was also the day of our big photo shoot. (jovoto’s upcoming relaunch means (among other things) that you can admire more photos of the team soon.) Everyone was a bit nervous about having their photo taken, trying to mask this by telling nasty jokes.
So, it remains an utter mystery how Nina was able to produce a giant amount of superbly delicious and incredibly fluffy couscous salad in the midst of all this turmoil.
The salad, a little bit like a tabule salad, contained…
… couscous, tomatoes, fresh celery, herbs, onions, topped with fresh peppermint leaves. It was accompanied by a yoghurt-and herbs sauce and pieces of roasted chicken. Top everything off with a sprinkle of lemon and be AMAZED!
As if it weren’t enough, Nina had also prepared baskets full of fruit and bread. What a feast. Thanks Nina!
