It’s always a pleasure to meet jovoto community members in real life! Two days ago, Pascal Cürsgen, whom you may know as ‘Thegoodad’ stopped by our office to say hello. (And rumour has it, that his visit had also something to do with the fabulous idea he sold to servtag in the friendticker contest…)
You can tell Pascal is a perfectionist. It took at least three attempts until he was satisfied with the lighting in this shot
Pascal Cüsrgen, born in Berlin, studied Communications Design in Düsseldorf. Now back in his hometown, he is trying to set a firm foot into the world of advertising and is starting his career as an intern at no lesser agency than renowned Scholz & Friends.
This young man is ambitious and talented – check out his blog where he archives previous work. I think he has a special strength for creating stories and emotions.
He says he can’t really remember how he first came into contact with jovoto – he suspects that some ‘internet-freak’ friend sent him a link. It must have been around Febuary/March of this year, because the Frank-Walter Steinmeier contest is the first Pascal participated in.

Since then, he has submitted ideas whenever he had the time and when the task inspired him. Apart from his fourth place and sold idea at friendticker, he’s also managed to score a first place win at the Opendi contest. And he says that his motivation to participate at jovoto contest is not declining, but rather becoming stronger… with his witty ideas and superb sense of humor, this can only mean: Watch out for this guy and learn from him as much as possible!

Hey Pascal – next time you visit teh jovoto HQ introduce yourself with your community nickname – I totally had no clue when you passed me and introduced yourself with Pascal. Good to have you around. I am a big fan of yours although the FWS stuff isn’t my very favourite.

I had a good time at Jovoto HQ and I also wanna thank the others for the nice hospitality. By the way I’m not a big fan of the works above either …

Oh I feel guilty now for posting them. The reason was that I thought people are more familiar with your recent work and I found it interesting to see your first jovoto submissions. you know what for sake of completeness I will now embed the friendticker video into the post

By the way – Friendticker bought the idea to use it as a funny clip for demonstrating that settling a meeting via sms is kinda stupid in the age of http://www.friendticker.de
