New contest coming up: Recruit a Monoski Team

I don’t think jovoto has seen a task as absurd and funny as this one!

We’re about to launch a new contest, with the goal to promote monoskiing. Monoski was once a popular alternative to skiing until its now well known cousin, snowboarding, came onto the scene.

There’s something of a mythical story behind this contest:

Some believe that one of the issues with monoskiing goes back to an event in 1974, when Alain Duchamp was forced to remove his monoski during a downhill contest and use regular skis. The rest as they say, is history, as Alain finished with a silver and slipped into relative obscurity.

Now Alain wants to bring monoski back and he is building a team to do it. he has the support of a number of sponsors but wants to build support for his team and potentially find new team members…

And this is where jovoto comes in: The upcoming Monoski contest will be about designing an ad campaign to revive the long-since forgotten great fun sport monoskiing! The brief will tell you more and it will be up soon.
