International Tshirt day
Woo-hoo! And we have another kick-ass celebration day. Next Monday it’s the longest day of the year, the official start of the summer and “The International T-Shirt day”. So what’s this celebration of T-shirts then?
T-shirts have become a canvas for opinion, taste and personal preference or allegiance. Now that they are a permanent part of everyday fashion, printed t-shirts allow their wearers to make a condensed statement about themselves to the world. We would go as far as to say that t-shirts are the most universal fashion garment.
Anyways, it’s just an great excuse to celebrate the many facets and versatility of T-shirts. This year there will be events in NYC, Boston, Thessasoloniki (that’s Greece) and of course Berlin! In Berlin the party will take place in the Kulturbrauerei Sommergarten. There will be an “open runway” where you can rock your favorite tees on the red carpet and get a photo snapped of your model moment, a bunch of free T-shirts, and a showcase of tees from top local and global fashion labels.
Come and join us for a cold drink, wear your best T-shirt, and rock the party! O and, if you want to win a year’s supply of free Tshirt. You still got a few days to participate in this contest from our friends from Spreadshirt.
So, come celebrate the most iconic fashion garment of the decade!
