Winners “Surprise Them” and interview with “planetboom”
It’s been five weeks full of considerations about beauty drinks and female shopping habits and preferences. Given the complex female soul and the no less complex fews of men about female preferences, it was actually no surprise that finally a high number of very diverse designs were submitted. The six top-ranked ideas reflect the broad range of possible styles and one finds ideas that cover all angles and tastes. A great result for Spreequell and for the community. Again, you guys did a great job in exploring all possible directions.
Apart from presenting the well-deserved winners of the prize money, this post also features a short interview with the author of the winenr idea, and that is….
1. planetboom with “with beauty”
A puristic, but neverteheless very poetic design. In planetboom’s own words: “inspired by the beauty of a dawn. 6 am. Sun shines on a field. the morning breaks.” Wow, this guy knows what women like to hear! He took our hearts by storm with this unique and likeable work. Chapeau, dear planetboom.
2. HD_One with “Beautyquell”
Not only did his clever name picking convince the community, also the fresh und different bottle design hit the mark. The grapic solution gains special momentum on the second look – and it only gets better on the third and fourth. A great piece of professional handcraft!
3. luzienele with “fruits”
A beautiful submission with absolutely gorgeous fruit illustrations. The very feminine approach scored not only with the fantastic illustrations, but also with the matching handwritten font. luzienele put a lot of work and heart blood in this, and it payed off! Very well done!

What sparked your interest in the “Surprise Them” Contest?
Breaking paradigms people used to have leads to surprise. If you surprise people wheather it´s unrealistic, phantastic or unusal it´s a chance to get another point of view on things. A Chance to rethink your daily habbit ….that´s whats cool about surprises and to think and work on that sparked my interest on this contest.
Why did you choose a rather puristic design for a women’s beauty drink?
Indeed it´s a very puristic design. The esthetic is about geometric forms, areas of pure colour and with a minimal use of decorative elements. Today, a plain and simple design is rare in supermarkets. But I think if you want to get in touch with a consumers especially ladies you have to create an emotional design. A design you can get lost in with your imagination and feelings. And I know ladies have a lot of feelings
Which kind of comments were most useful to you?
Thanks to all people who developed this design further….i liked Friedas concerns about the little light sensitive Q 10 molecules. I wont harm them, promise !
Are you an enthusiastic consumer of beauty drinks yourself?
kidding ? Of course ! One drink in the morning for the inner beauty one drink for outer beauty and one for the general beauty =) Lection one in “Beauty Secrets”: USE A LOT !

Now we’re curiously waiting for the feedback from Spreequell. It fell a bit into oblivion, but Spreequell actually submitted three designs themselfes. Let’s see if they’ll pick one of the ideas submitted by the community… I am quite optimistic!
