Tell us, what’s special about the photo below?
That’s right: It’s a doorbell on 42 West 24th in Manhatten, NYC, and the sign says ‘jovoto’ in the 11th row from the top.
You probably get the point about these bombshell news: jovoto is in process of opening up a New York branch office!
I think we’re still overwhelmed ourselves that jovoto has grown so fast in the past year and that we’re now about to be come truly international. With many awesome, inspiring partners and good contests coming from North America in the past months, jovoto realized that moving closer to a global hub of internet culture and economy is an opportunity we can’t miss out on.
So, to make a long story short, here we are, in the Big Apple. Peter Ryder will be leading the NYC branch from now on, and build up a small team around himself in the coming months. (There will be a proper introduction of Pete on this blog soon!) Also, Nadine is here at the moment, lucky enough to spend a few days in town to help Pete set up the office and get started.

We’re proud to kick off the U.S. office’s operations with a great socially relevant project with high visibility such as the upcoming betacup challenge. (The Creative Brief to this challenge will be up shortly!)

It’s sooo exiting here, and I walk around the streets with big eyes and looking upwards all the time. @squalidsketch yea you wouldn’t believe it, the sky is so blue here that everything is tinted light blue… hahaha… or wait, no, that was my camera on the wrong white balance setting.
