What is jovoto?

jovoto is a unique think tank, a space in which your ideas have a chance to grow.

jovoto is a project born at the Institute of Electronic Business and University of the Arts, Berlin, in 2006. We noticed that many great ideas by young creatives do not receive the attention they deserve or sometimes even end up being used without any credit or compensation given to the author.

At the same time, getting a foot into the professional world of the creative sector is often made difficult for young talents. Access to the first truly challenging jobs and large-scale tasks requires entering the channels of the established structures of the trade. Entry barriers are high.

These circumstances are what we call out-of-date, and they do not agree with our interpretation of creativity, work, and participation. It is our goal to make access to the creative sector easier and to give each idea a chance – in a fair, unconventional way, which is fun at the same time.
