    great idea with the paper!
as one of the original creators of the c2c i applaud this direction.

I had a laugh at this one. This idea would make the coffee inside the cup taste stale, and Stargbucks uses coffee cups to serve tea. I don't think I would want to taste stale coffee grounds from my coffee cup when I'm drinking tea or any other hot liquid the shop might sell.

This is an interesting point you bring up with other drinks, but if a coffee paper is used, it will not taste like coffee (just like a traditional paper doesn't taste like a tree). But generally, from what i understand, constructive criticism should not involve mockery. I would appreciate if you stop laughing at my idea and instead focus on helping make the idea better.

First in line with the up-cycling idea of using a coffee composition mug. The technology is used in coffee based dishware already, so it shouldn't be to hard to adapt. Good concept.

This makes total sense to me! I'm all for it! This takes most of the behavior change off of the customer. If the expense and means of it all doesn't defeat the purpose, this is solid!

there are already companies offering this kind of treeless coffee paper. some of them are even certified as fare-trade. The cost is slightly more than the usual tree-paper, but this might partly be due to the smaller demand for the paper. it is being produce manually in smaller amounts in small shops. But it can be mass produced which will bring the price even lower.

I do like this concept despite some of the issues brought up by others. I'm sure there is a creative workaround for lining the interior- like some sort of final spray coating that is safe and biodegradable. As I read your description I could't help but think of "in and out burger" - its actually pretty fun to see those guys cutting the potatoes into french fries on the spot and seeing the cups made on sight would add a level of personality to the mix.
    Nice work!

Really creative idea, even if the logistics and marketing side of things could use some development. All the best.
