The fact that it's see-through makes this cup look really classy!

nice design. as of i'm concerned i could prefer this.. I would rather bring a reusable cup than use a recyclable paper cups.

I could imagine using this for cold drinks. Not so sure about hot coffee though. I hate drinking tea from a glass cup, cause it always seems to be hotter than usual... I know about the double wall - I am just wondering about the lip contact...

Thanks for the support and great feedback! With regards to the concern about drinking hot beverages from the vessel, we've carefully designed the upper lip (the top 2-3cm which come into contact with the drinker's mouth) to be fused together like a normal single wall drinking glass, so this part that contacts your lip would not be hot and cause discomfort. It would be the same experience as drinking from a standard thermal travel mug designed for extended beverage temperature control with a practical and comfortable contact point to sip from.

I'd use this. It's a good looking vessel. How much would it weigh, being that it's a double wall... after adding a beverage to it... I don't want it to be too heavy that I won't want to hold it...because that will lead to me leaving it somewhere. Also, What about it's durability? because I am clumsy..if it breaks easy..I'll be buying a new one quite often. : )

Janne has a valid point too...about the temperature of the beverage.

Thanks for the compliment! You've raised a practical point here. Although the vessel is not as durable as metal and plastic alternatives, we've chosen to utilize glass for several reasons. The transparency aspect makes for an aesthetic enjoyment (particularly when loose whole leaf tea leaves are infused.) We also wanted to avoid the potential leaching of toxins from many conventional plastics. Microwave-use was another factor. Glass also suits tea and coffee connoisseurs who prefer non-plastic, non-metallic options to best capture the flavors and aromas of premium beverages. As for the weight of the vessel, it weighs the same as a conventional metal thermos of like capacity. Thanks again and best wishes!
