    The woven cup is quite pretty. I like the natural fiber look. I am just a little confused about the lining - my idea and several others go over the latest options for food-safe, biodegradable liners. Please feel free to take a look.

    The natural aesthetic you are bringing to the cup is beautiful - and a reminder in itself to stay "green"! I'll gladly give you a rating!

    Wouldn't a woven cup be difficult to wash? Also, how does this design address the desire for companies to add branding to their cups?

    Starbucks cups and many other cafés use cups which they can mark with coffee preferences; that's a pretty big thing to give up. Do you have an idea for how to compensate for the lack of a marking surface on your cup?

    @Berkana.

    It is not meant to be reused. at least as a coffee cup. But it can be used , maybe, as pen holder or something? or if its get thrown away it decomposes rather quickly. The raw material is not like trees where in you have to wait for years to harvest. an example would be the water hyacinth in a few weeks you could harvest them and does not need to be tended closely. The weave cup would be just a holder. There is a lining inside would be utilized. The lining is thin so they use less material and there are many out there in the market that can be utilized as lining for the cup

    As for the branding. they could use a small tag just like those found on tea bags or color the main cup with their color green. or place their logo as a sticker on the cup.

    a weaved cup would be unique and would be associated with starbuck after some marketing. That would be another marketing strategy. The cup itself could be an icon, an icon that would only be associated with starbucks.

    WOW this is very nice one. Brilliant. I didn't think of a holder which is foldable, washable and reusable. If this combines with my idea it would be a great alternative. I love it. Rest all we can work on. Like branding,ads, etc.
    It couldn't find words to express. This is awesome.

    Could look beautiful, but I was also concerned about cleaning. Did I get it right that you planned this to be a disposable cup? Wouldn´t it be very expensive to weave sleeves that are thrown away immediately after use?
