I think the biggest criticism Starbucks might have of this design is that it is not going to be easy to brand the cup, especially with the outer texture so corrugated.
With a heavily corrugated shape like yours, as you get down to the last bit of coffee in the cup, a lot of the coffee will get caught in the troughs; you'll have to tilt your head back all the way and turn the cup upside down to get that coffee out, and it is likely to dribble out in all directions once upside down.
Lastly, even as re-usable as Silicone is, it will eventually wear out, or perhaps a percentage of the millions of these cups will get torn. Silicone, as far as I understand, is not biodegradable nor recyclable. I don't know if using a collapsable silicone cup system would be environmentally benign in the long run.
