Creating an element that in itself produces both an atmosphere and a sense of order was an essential design decision. Our design takes the form of a ceiling sculpture, extruded down to effectively subdivide the space. A play with light and materiality to manipulate form lures the senses into a romantic state. 

A play with material translucency is a key element of our design. Translucent concrete allows a visible placement highlighting the interesting movements that occur in a restaurant setting. The ability to see a chef in one zone, but hear him as you pass into another forms a desired state of discovery.
