1. Please, shortly describe your application.
The visitors are asked to join in the game. Registration etc. is not necessary. The visitors are slowly asked questions about their current occupation / studies. There are 10 questions (alternatively the computer can guess 10 x - as in the original).
At the end the computer (dabtabase) guesses the visitor´s occupation. Here an element of surprise is used. - the databank will be able to name the occupation quite precisely and can suggest available jobs at Telecom.
2. Which additional value does your application offer to the visitors of Telekom Karriere/career
At the end of the game the visitor will be presented with possible job possibilities. (see chart). Even visitors who are not looking for a new job will suddenly be presented with a, possibly, attractive offer. The additional value for Telecom is that it gets a detailed overview of the visitors to its site.
3. What is new about your application?
People who may not be thinking of changing their jobs at all are playfully confronted with a job offer and can inform themselves.
4. Further notes about your idea?
How it functions:
Data from the Statistical Federal Office : https://www-genesis.destatis.de can be used to help create the databank. - Worth a look but not very user friendly.
After every answer the databank asks the next next question according to the propablility principal. For example: "Do you work at the computer?"
If the answer is "yes" then the next question about word processing will be asked, as this is the main use for the computer. The testimonial could be also a nother character like a cartoon.
The databank will not find unusual occupations. At the beginning fo the game a selection can be made, as in the original.
- self-employed / employee
- service arey / production / other
