Victorinox: Halftime Feedback

Hey there,

We’ve got some exciting news! February is a record breaking month with over 600 idea submissions in the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Fashion Edition. It has exceded our expectations, breaking all other submission records. We think all of you deserve a hand for your amazing participation and the fantastic ideas that don’t seem to stop flowing! Great job and keep the creativity coming!

To continue with this exciting contest let’s do a little feedback refresh so we can keep creating the most interesting and exciting ideas:

  • After all, Victorinox told us today that they would like to buy 10-15 ideas, so let’s hear it:
  • The logo must stay in the same place/ have the same size as the original.
  • Victorinox is a worldwide, strong, well known – and very proud – brand, so it doesn’t need and want to cooperate or even imitate other brands at all.
  • Even if many of your proposals with well known visuals, patterns and pictures are very inspiring, please bear in mind, only designs that you own the rights to can be taken into consideration.
  • Applications on the knife will not be producible: so make sure everything you propose looks gorgeous as well if it is “just” printed on the knife.
  • In terms of print almost everything is possible (also gradients etc.)
  • Oh and Dora’s piece of feedback is, have fun!!

    10-15 sold ideas!? You sure about that ? What if it’s just like the NEW CASTLE contest!? where they forget the very last detail, the payment! and back out…hmm..how inspiring.

    i wonder if the 10-15 owners of possilbe sold ideas were contacted before the close of the contest, thus giving them unfair encouragement to invest time into the entry. i also wonder if the contest guide or other jovoto staff did not recommend certain ideas for whatever reason, thus influencing which of the ideas get noticed in the overwhelming pile.
