Established in 1921 by Russian Leonowitsch Gorbatschow after he fled to Berlin, Wodka Gorbatschow has gone on to become one of the most successful spirits in Germany. Today, the brand belongs to the Henkell & Co. family.
Launching the first cocreation competition
In spring 2016, Wodka Gorbatschow set out to create the coolest limited edition bottle on the market with the help of the jovoto community’s imagination, creativity and expertise. In a 6-week global cocreation contest, more than 600 people from 48 countries took part. The winning ideas were put to a global vote on the Wodka Gorbatschow’s website, with the final winner announcement taking place in June. 400 000 bottles of the winning design chosen by the public the hit shelves in December 2016, selling out in no time.
Continuing the success with a themed second limited edition
After the huge success of the first 2016 limited edition, Wodka Gorbatschow had jovoto creatives
again design the 2017 limited edition. This time the project had a theme: Mystic Ice World. Participants from 54 countries submitted over 200 ideas in the global cocreation contest this time around. 500 000 bottles of the winning design, The North Star, will hit shelves again in November 2017.

Not only did the contest lead to over 280k unique pageviews, but fans shared contest-related content over 600 times, garnering 19K likes and 4k comments.
