Award Others for Great Feedback

In 2015 we introduced the Feedback Award to the jovoto prize repertoire. This prize is meant to reward you for working together and helping one another to develop ideas by giving helpful and constructive feedback. It’s important to us as well, that you help us decide who should win the prize and be rewarded for their feedback.

We pick the winner by looking at the top 5 community members with the most ^Helpful up votes in a specific project. Then we select the feedback giver with the most relevant comments.

Be sure to have your say: When you’re going through ideas and reading comments on the platform, when you see a suggestion or constructive feedback in a comment- mark it by using the ^Helpful? up vote button.

It’s you who helps us rewards others. Next time you’re in the comment section, don’t forget to click ^ when you spot something helpful! Read more about it here.

Evening, the feedback award is a welcomed addition.
I would like to make a couple of recommendations/questions:
    1. It should be taken in consideration only until the Rating Period starts. Afterwards is useless for the creative. Is welcomed, but useless modification related
    2. Jovotans do not always give the up vote, but they do find it useful, do you take in considerations their affirmative response to the comment/advice, without the UP.
    3. What about the moment we (me included) use the tool, to acknowledge our fellow jovotans praises or words of good, related to our ideas. Do those enter in the process of selecting the winner (ex – a Jovotan praises the entire comunity and organizers after the contest is over, and gets 5-6 up votes)

    Hi tyby,
Thanks for your feedback! Let me respond point by point.
    1. Indeed, the feedback should be given when there is time to update an idea, but as a whole we reward when people take the time to give a constructive critique and review of an idea.
    2. The project guide is always involved in a project, so we are aware who’s giving helpful feedback, however the only safe bet is to use the useful button because we have too much to do to re-read and consider the feedback in a project. So please, use the ^ button 🙂
    3. For this reason, we reserve the right to consider the top 5 creatives with the highest upvotes. This way, we can review the feedback and be sure it isn’t only compliments.
    4. If you have any other questions, always feel free to get in touch 🙂
