Oversized interconnecting modular building blocks made from recycled materials (plastics, rubber etc.). Since waste is a big issue in slums around the world, why not create a modular interconnecting building block made from waste collected in slums. Small recycling factories can be erected to mould these blocks. The modular blocks are based on the "lego principal" with each block interconnected thereby creating a versatile construction method. Blocks would be hollow and to insulate them against cold, sound etc they can be filled with additional recycled material. To connect bricks a type of silicone based cement can be used. A row of blocks can be cemented onto the cement floor to create the foundation and that would form the basis for the blocks to be laid upon. On-site training would be given in the slums.
