M2 HOMES PROJECT
A HOUSE SOLID AS A ROCK AND FLEXIBLE AS A PAPERSHEET. The proposed system is developed as a utility model of the EMMEDUE system. The proposed building system is completely self-constructible. The utility model proposed for the $300 house have been cal

Solution

This means the current M2 process have been streamlined to place just the panels in their original state, avoiding concrete castings and coating applications. Finishes are offered in drywall, plasterboard or similar type.

The house components transportation can be massive and economic, thanks to their light weight. It can be done by Land, Sea and Air.

These are various pictures from different tests conducted by highly prestigious institutions using concrete coated panels.

The experiments corroborate the safeness, efficiency and seismic resistance of the panels. The trials can be watched in the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mBpXc...

The EPS (expanded polystyrene) as a sustainable material offers great benefits for the environment  such as:

Security.

The EPS is an inert material which does not generate toxic or harmful substances. It does not contains chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) or hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFCs). It neither contains organic materials hence it inhibits the microorganisms and mold growth.

The mechanical and thermal properties last for the full life of the house. The EPS will not suffer permanent damage if exposed to steam or moisture.

Recyclable

Thanks to the optimization of our processes, EPS production generates very little waste. This waste is then recycled in the same plant.

Non-toxic

EPS does not cause damage to the health of those who produce it or install it.

Self-extinguishing

The EPS used in our products does not generate flames nor generate combustion.

Environmental Cost

It is minimal when compare to the energy saved during the entire life of a properly insulated building panel.

Keeps the heat out

EPS is an extremely efficient insulator for high temperature climates,

such as those of Sub-Saharan or African countries.

The house is fully customizable in finishes, colors and textures depending on the countries culture and climate.
