The «Earthen shelter» is a cheap house for it is mainly made
of free materials : the soil which is under our feet (Patrice
Doat, director of the CRATerre research laboratory).
It is an ecological shelter for it uses low transformed
materials and needs no grey energy during its building
process.
It is a healthy shelter for it is made of only natural materials.
And it is also a comfortable shelter for the design and
the materials used allow to regulate its thermal and
hygrometric atmosphere.
