Solution

I decided to use a circle to represent how the EURO bid will encapsulate the community. The circle shape also represents a football.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

Using Illustrator, I created 3 circles to create the spherical German flag design.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

I used the 3 sections of the circle to show how different parts of the community will come together as one.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It is simple and recognisable, and it is easy to see it is German.
