Well, the colors in the first place, are a reference to the fact of Germany being the organizer (Red, Black and Yellow). Furthermore, the circle in the middle has a double signification : It illustrates a soccer ball (Which is a reference to the sport of soccer) and on the other hand, the detail incorporated in circle is a presentation of people (and thus, allusion to the european nations). the tear-like shapes are put a way they would make people think of a cup.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

Because i'm working hard in this Design and i'm tried to keep a Complete beautiful logo for the EUFA CUP.. and i think i deserve it
