I wanted to incorporate the German flag as it is simple and instantly recognisable and a dynamic flowing logo which represents German football fan culture and its willingness to host a UEFA European Championship..

I used the deconstructed German flag showing Germany spreading its willingness and passion to host the Euros across the country and Europe. The flag is shaped into a football to show the speed and flow of football. The path of the flag shows the connection of Germany coming together in Germany for a UEFA Euros and the connection also represents the first Euros that would be hosted in Germany as a unified country. The flowing also represents the flags flown by Germany’s amazing football fans.

I believe my logo is simple and versatile to use for the bid and represent the best things about German football and their hospitality to host a UEFA European Championship
