I feel like "24" is a important element, so I put it as the focus of the logo. I also want the logo to be round, so it can symbolize football.

I started off designing a "24" with Germany's flag colors. I then made to logo round, so I can put the football element in it.

24, Germany flag, football. After finishing the design, I found out the "24" looks kind of like the eagle in Germany's coat of arms.
