The Symbol composes a stylized ball and a birds view into a stadium with celebrating fans. It also combines the colors of Germany with the green of the pitch.
I tried to put the ball / circle as key element. The fragmented elements give the logo more dynamic and allows to combine the relevant colors. The green pitch is in the centre where the action of the game happens and the fans (holding hands) celebrate together the beauty of the game.
The game itself (represented by the ball) is centre of the logo. community: the fans from both teams maybe opponents but above all rivalry they share the love to the game Euphoria: the dynamic and the celebrating fans with raised hands (almost like la Ola, witch I think is always a overwhelming expression of joined fun throughout the stadium)
I think it's important to put the game itself (the ball) in the centre of the event and to show euphoria for a game is something that can be shared across borders and is a lot more powerful than aggression ever will be.
