I watched some football games to get some inspiration. I saw fans with painted faces and imagined how it could be implemented in a logo.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

The face painting is something that many fans have in common so it is a recognizable thing. I anrranged the strokes in a way that they form a heart which signifies the love for the game and the connnection between the fans.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

All the fans paint their faces with the colors of their favorite team. It shows the connection between the fans who wear the same face painting.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It is simple, so it's easily recognizable, even in small versons and in black and white.

It is also versatile. The great thing is that fans could paint their flags and put the round badge on top of it to show they're part of this amazing event.
