The logo is playful.It shows diversity in characters, but at the same time it shows that the characters are united around their common passion.
I was inspired by many photos of football players captured in the air and/or in different choreographic poses.
The characters are euphoric and happy, almost dancing together. Using the three colours of the German flag, I tried to also accentuate the diversity of characters, showing that sport doesn't care about race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and cultural differences.
I researched the previous logos, and i think my version is different. It is not very sportive from the first glance, but it shows humanity behind the game.
