Solution

The logo is designed as a football which is on fire. It has green, yellow, blue, red and black colors. One part of fire is in colors of German flag and also the first three letters are painted in three colors which are on German flag. It is very energetic, and enthusiastic.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

I wanted to design a logo that represents enthusiasm so came up with this design.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

I used other colors (not just three ones from German flag) to express community and other 23 nations. It is designed as a ball on fire which represents euphoria and enthusiasm connected with the event.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

I think I included all of your key elements and that it looks appealing and colorful.

nice idea monika :) i think you don't have to use a gradient. You can easily distribute colors to shapes
