Mit hoch erhobenen Armen bilden die sechs Personen einen Fußball, dessen Kontur die Farben der deutschen Flagge sind. Die Idee ist der Fußball als Sport, welcher Menschen verbindet und Deutschland als perfektes Gastgeberland für die Spiele. Together people with raising arms form a football, whichs contour is the flag of Germany. The idea is that football connects people and Germany is a perfect surrounding for the games.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

My goal was to combine a football and some happy and euphoric looking persons in the logo. So i tried first to find simpel figures with raised armes. After that, I drew them in a circle and saw, it could be a football, when I connect them in the right angle. Finally, I surrounded the circle with the flag of Germany .

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

The ball stands for the topic of football and the EURO 2024. The figures in the middle represent either fans of football as well as the players themselves. Also they are meant to be from the different countries of Europe. Germany as the candidate is visible in the contour of the ball.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

My logo is simpel but with a deeper message which can be understood easily. It also appears dynamic as the sport football is too.
