The main element of the logo is a man with the hands raised in the air, representing the joy of beeing part of this tournament. The "man" shape is made out of two lines colored differently and their overlapping expresses the unity between the community. The yellow line is curved in the shape of an heart expresing the love that people have for football and for each other.
Considering the message "Football is love and unity", I merged four elements that I think are representative for football: a heart, happy people, unity between people and a football ball. I think that Germany ,as a host of this tournament is represented by those 4 elements and to express this, I colored them in the colors of the german flag.
