Solution

I thought about how to include the fans (as supporters) into the logo and was asking myself about the origin of the word. Before I realized it is short for fanatic I wondered for a short while if it derives from a fan (like ventilator) which gives tailwind to the players. In times when extrem fanatics try to sabotage the beauty and innocence of the game with violence and fanatism it seems to be a more desirably origin.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

The stylized fan gives tailwind to the EM and one wings connects the symbol with the "E" from Euro

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

The fan ventilates the euphoria for the tournament and the fan consists of many wings
