The are a lot of meanings that can be found in this logo. I tried to combine german architecture, order and minimalism with sport, football and sense of community. The result is a bold design which I'm sure that can be recognised with ease.
The Euro Cup is a moment of joy and celebration but also of great cultural exchange and competition. I wanted to represent the peculiarities of Germany through Architecture and mix it with football and European sense of community. The stars remind me of the European flag but also of the 24 teams, in fact there are 24 stars.
The man silhouette is formed by a circle mixed with different colors representing all the different cultures that come together for this moment of joy and celebration. The stars representing the team are disposed in opposite way to resemble the tournament table of the event but they're also all together, giving the idea of unity and absence of any kind of boundary.
Because it respects the brief and is easy to be recognized and understood.
