The black and yellow balls represent the 24 participating teams connected by their common passion.

Solution

The 24 participating teams and their fans are represented by the 12 yellow and the 12 black balls. All these teams and their fans are connected by their common passion which is football. The 10 red balls represent the 10 host cities. Moreover the red ball in the middle portrays a football which flies into the goal net.

I was trying to display the meeting of different nationalities and cultures.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

I used balls in different colours and lines to connect them.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

This logo is made for football fans by a football fan and it represents important values for europe in these days. Cohesion, openness, communication.
