It should transport germanys beauty, their love of soccer and their hospitality.

Solution

I wanted to show some of the landmarks in germany like the "Kölner Dom", "Brandenburger Tor, "Frauenkirche Dresden", "Frauenkirche München", "Burg" to show the beauty of the country. The center element is the soccer field and the soccer ball that flies up in the sky. Next to the arena is the crowd, that is represented colorfull to show the diversity. The flying ball gives movement and dynamic to the logo. The colors are friendly and reflect the hospitality of germany.

I wanted to show germany as a friendly host and the beauty it has to offer.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

Th reference to football is shown with the stadium and the ball and the reference to Germany as a friendly, cosmopolitan host is shown in the landmarks and the color spectrum.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It gives a warm and welcoming message. That is the main purpose of the logo and i think i have achieved that with my design.
