Solution

The national colors of Germany form a circle that seems to move. It is important in an event like this to convey the unity of people but also to encourage sport, friendship and fun. For this reason an euphoric public, without differences, cheer around the center. In the middle, a classic soccer ball and an anonymous shoe represent Football. A sport, a game, where the important thing is to participate and live the European spirit.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

The design process has been slow but with attention to small details. Each line must represent its own idea and the drawing as a whole must be expressed by itself

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

The references to Football and the European Championship are represented in the center of the image with a reallistic but simple drowing but also using the untertitel. In realtion to Germany, the host country, i decided to envolve the Football and the logo with the National Colors. Are those lines also wich represent the movement, dynamism, euphoria and contains the public. For this competition I decided also to use the German name of the contry.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

My Logo represents each detail of the European Championship process. It is a logo created to being identify with. The people will feel united arround the football and the football players will want to be the one in the logo. A logo that is easy to understand, very different from others in the past of the compettition and with a great and positive energy.
