A planet-like sphere with the typical marks of footballfield. It is surrounded by shapes of a cheering crowd of people with typical football-fan accesoires (flags/fan-scarfs/vuvuzelas). The color of the fancrowd is black, red and gold, like the national flag of germany.

The round shape in the middle symbolizes the planet earth. The shape of the cheering people show the euphoric footballfans.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

The planet symbolizes the importance of football in the world and especially in europe as one of the most famous sports. The joyful crowd stands for the euphoria concerning the sport/football in germany and the hospitality of the german people, like in 2006, when the world cup was played here.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It transports the main Messages: Community (fans/planet) and Euphoria (cheering crowd) in an aesthetic, but not overloaded way.
