Football is a vital element for the union of peoples. All colors, races, creeds and genres are invited to the biggest party in Europe. A meeting of different cultures with one goal: celebrate!
Please describe the creative approach you took to your design
The first idea: Euphoria; A feeling that has no measure, that does not fit in itself. Like the sun. The three colors of the German flag in vibrant movement, blending together and generating a six-pointed sun, remembering that it will be the sixth edition of the Euro in this millennium. At the center of the sun, three friends of different colors (ethnicities) forming a soccer ball. In addition, we created the font of the logo, based on the German Gothic typography, but with a more current design.
Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design
As I said above, I focused on "Euphoria" "Friendship" and "Integration". I used colors and movements to generate this sensation, not forgetting that football is joy. Celebrate friends!
Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?
Just look at it to feel the pulse of a stadium, the joy of a goal, the Euro party. A brand that demonstrates happiness, unity and movement, with light typography and vibrant colors. The German that welcomes the world to celebrate Europe.
