I imagined a soccer ball moving in one direction, representing a global entity mixed with strong visual references of the host country like national colors , a geographic element and of course soccer.
Please describe the creative approach you took to your design
I tried to imitate some elements of the great and historic "Bauhaus" school of art in this design like basic geometric figures, circles and straight lines in uniform color for a visual strength, also the text is on the opposite side to de main circle. Other parts of the logo have color gradients for refresh it a little bit.
Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design
The human figures inside the pentagons of the soccer ball, represent the global community who love so much this sport, the same people who will travel to Germany (the big soccer field) to encourage their team in the competition.
Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?
I think the image combines strong and simple lines that we can relate to Germany with figuratives forms from an international soccer event. It can be remember easily.
