Solution

My logo is based on the letter G that stands for Germany. The logo can be seen in two ways. The one, "everyone comes to the heart", in this way of looking, it seems like all the colors (which represent the fans and competing teams) wants to come to the football field that located in the heart of Europe- Germany. In the second way, we can see how the German nation (which represented by the letter G and the German-flag colors) coming out from the football,and is spreading the love of football around Europe.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

My starting point was the heart, I knew from the beginning of my work that I want to include it as the core of the logo. After some attempts I drew a line, that when it connected to the heart, make the logo looks like a G- that was the point I realized what my idea will be. I ass a few more lines to resemble other elements in my logo and make it deeper and richer in content.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

Germany represented by the letter G and the German national colors. The football represented by the football field in the logo. The heart represent the passion and love of fan to this sport, both German and international fans. The thickness of the lines create sense of motion and leaving the viewer to choose in which way he wants the lines to move- coming into the heart or coming out of it (and by that the logo is getting two different meanings).

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

Because it has many ways of interpretations and by that it shows many messages and values that reflects the tournament and the German hosting. Its inviting everyone to come to Germany but in the same time shows how Germany wants to give everyone feelings of happiness , joy, fun and love- all in simple yet effective shape.
