Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

My target was to create a simple logo without typical stereotypes like often seen before. I want to design which works more in a typographical way. Maybe it matches perfect to the pragmatically german way of life : )

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

The 4-G-link shows the connection between the participants, the fans and the host. It stands for fair play on and off the field. The simple shade of a football stands for (e)motion and dynamic of the sport.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

I think I created a logo which works without often seen design elements like ball, cheering people or trophys. Instead it works with letters/numbers which is unique and keep in mind. Furthermore it matches perfect to the host country as seen above.
