Back Of The Net (updated with: Emoji Set)
Unforgettable moments
1/6

Solution

(1) The design is aimed at capturing the climax of the football match, the split second when the fans and football players alike see the ball shaking the back of the net. It's a reminder of all the moments of joy ever lived, and a promise that new unforgettable images are soon to drawn on the pitch.

(2) The emoji-set can be an interractive, playful alternative. Each emoji shows the emotions the ball goes through when it's put in the net by a certain T/P (team / player). When a productive T/P scores a goal, for the ball that's business as usual: the emoji could be a bored emoji, as if it says "Not Again!" (flattering to the T/P). When a T/P who rarely scores a goal happens to make it, then the ball goes nuts hardly believing it actually got in the net for the first time in ages (funny irony to a T/P). A broader funny set of emojis could be developed, and the fans could express how they feel about a team / player through them: either by voting, or simply by accessing a page and getting a link to share a particular T/P name associated to a certain emoji (reaction of the fotball) : "When Germany scores a goal, the football be like:" ("X be like" is a popular Internet meme, but the text can always be something else similar).

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

The idea took shape while recalling the sudden, powerful outburst of joy that goals scored by my favorite team brought me in the most intense moments of the game. Seeing the ball bending the net is the ultimate reward for the waiting fans, and for the high commitment of the football players.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

(1) black-red-yellow color scheme reminding of the German flag colors; (2) football decorated with a classic pentagon (which is also a person jumping for joy); (3) the football hits the back of the net, you can see two net strings bent and leaving shadows right under; (4) the message is universal for all football fans, regardless of nationality, or favorite team. It's what every fan relates to, and expects from the game -- a need and feeling we all share.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

Because it would look good in my resume (?)

HAVE YOU READ THE" GUIDELINES, REGULATIONS & COMMENTS" SECTION IN THE BRIEF AND IS THIS YOUR ORIGINAL WORK?

Yes, besides font.
