Started with minimalist approach to end up to this design.

The very important places in a logo is the top and center, so I give the top to Germany as a a good leader of footbal and sports in Europe. and the center to European flags to give them the axis of the game , then supporters around them

It's a competition, so, I tried to be creative and original through looking for ideas that match the briefing.
