My proposal aim to drive germans and all Europe's enthusiasm to Euro 2024 Championship in Germany.

Solution

I wanted to comunicate german excellence, competition, euphoria through a mark that can be seen differently by any person, that can convey multiple messages.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

I tried to synthesize through shapes and colors the german national identity. The geometric, modernist-aesthetics feeling is a tribute to german design history and also a reference to the first Euro Championship logo. I wanted to design an evocative and original-look mark in which everyone could see multiple messages. I used mostly rounded shapes to convey a comfort feeling.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

This logo could symbolize a soccer player kicking a ball to the left, or a goal keeper launching a ball to the left. The right sphere symbolize a soccer ball, or a head together with other two: that it meanings meeting or sharing a space. Golden stripes: velocity, competition (gold cup, or the three steps of the podium). Could be seen also as the trail of the footballer's shots. 3D appearance purpose its intended to recall sports facilities, big modern stadiums shapes like those German offers.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

I think my design is modern, gentle and i think it embodies the expectation for a championship of excellence.
