The design is a mix between football players, the 12 stars of the EU flag and the colors of Germany

Solution

The idea incorporates three concepts. Germany, represented by the colors used, the European Union depicted by the use of 12 symbols, just like the EU flag and football. In order to illustrate the idea of football we have used stars that turn into players in action. The ball and its trajectory is clearly visible in order to give a dynamic feel to the entire concept.

Inspired by the values of the European Union and the fair-play in football.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

Players that seemingly hold hands is about unity as well the use of 12 stars a clear reference to the EU. The color palette used is the German flag and football players in action symbolize the excitement of the game.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It sends a clear massage and it has all the elements required to become a symbol of unity through football.
