Solution

From the very beginning I tried to introduce in my work a combination of elements specific to Germany, football, but also elements of joy and celebration.

My entrance is complex, but well structured so that through the elements surrounding the central symbol I have tried to express the unity and the joy of those who empathize with Euro 2024, but also symbolize the sun that illuminates all those who enjoy it festival, and in combination with the symbol of the moon and the center ball, we can say that Euro 2024 will not be just a European championship, but a special story among all the present nations.

There are also German-specific items such as pretzel, thumbs up that symbolizes the way you can order a beer at any terrace in Germany, which leads us with the thought of friendship, unity and happiness, of course, without exceeding a measure of good sense. Also, the three points of the middle shape symbolize the fact that Germany is a country in which everything is done with sense of responsibility and also very precise in decisions and organization of any type of event.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

I started from a central idea of ​​joy and celebrating the art of football combined with the ball and elements specific to the host country, also presented in the paragraph where I described the solution. At the same time, the colors of Germany, as well as the green color that refers both to the soccer field and the freshness of the European championship.

Please explain how you incorporated the messages, values and mandatory elements outlined above into your design

Through all the elements and colors I use, I believe I've embedded the message and values ​​needed to participate in this project.

Why should your design become the logo for the bidding phase?

It's a logo, in fact a story about what we all want to be the European Championship: a story with people, a story about celebrating football no matter where each team comes from and every single person who participates in it. Both physically and spiritually.
