Retro Unity
Concept of unity and freedom developed within multiplied circles by combining retro elements.

Solution

Idea of unity, freedom and equality is part of modern Europe's culture. Simple shape that can describe unity is circle, formed by multiplied parts, round lines creating invisible borders and paths of freedom between. Lines shaping circle, or ball, are colored in black, yellow and red - colors of German flag, but also compatible to be easily changed to host city's colors and colors and symbols of the participants. In the middle of circle is simple human silhouette, and the same round, smaller object. Human silhouette can be used also as mascot of Germany's bid. Shaped to be a recognizable symbol of understanding and diversity.

Please describe the creative approach you took to your design

Design is based on combination of simple, modernist ideas using geometry, silhouette and Bauhaus like font to create sense of retro but always modern and contemporary idea of unity between all the diversities.
