Here's what happened

Approach
Jung von Matt, representing DFB, approached jovoto to host a 10-day open design contest to create the logo and brand for Germany’s bid for EUFA EURO 2024. In this open project, 962 creatives from 79 countries participated by submitting their designs, voting on their favourites. In the end, a jury selected the top submissions, which were put up for public voting on Football.de.

Result
More than 60k people voted for their top choice on Football.de. Eventually, the winning design by Igor Petrovic, became a part of Germany’s success story, as they won the bid to host the 2024 European football cup!

Media Impact
The Crowdstorm led to nearly 80K  unique page views on the project page on jovoto.com, seeing mass engagement on social media and our blog. DFB also launched a website featuring the design. The press picked up the story, with online and print features in Fussball.de, DIE WELT, BILD, Focus, Horizont, RTL, and others!
