An "empty" box

The box (box/form is only for give thickness and depht) is very similar to the software's boxes, but here the only containers are three transparent plastic pockets. The first (the cover, whith a tablet printed) has an interspace for dual-use, one in front and one inside. The second has his interspace inside, the third alongside. The boxes used in the book store can be always the same (only one time buy). Only the prints of the covers of the books and information for download change every time. These boxes return ebooks to their dignity of material objects, because can be touched, grabbed, passed between the hands in the book store. This is a very different object of any papery's information: it has a real volume, and extends in space in three dimensions. As we can see from the picture, the boxes can be also placed on the shelves in a very orderly way, just like the books.

What is the core principle of your idea?

Can your idea be applied to different formats (in a bookstore, at a trade fair, at a conference)?

Would it be possible to turn your idea into a reality, or at least create a prototype of it, at short notice, i.e. by the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2014?

What do you estimate the costs for the prototype or the final implementation of your idea to be?

10€ (pasteboard, acetate, 3 prints A4)
