A furniture collection to cofigure the space where the visitor-costumer can flip through thousands of books by inserting the digital content on any screen or accesing the library stored in the server. The furniture pieces are adjustable and mobile so to be installed according to different layouts. This system can be used in any conventional book store where a digital publishing products section is required. The actual "look" can be a visual identificator of the new dBookStore image.
What is the core principle of your idea?
A basic furniture collection.
Can your idea be applied to different formats (in a bookstore, at a trade fair, at a conference)?
Would it be possible to turn your idea into a reality, or at least create a prototype of it, at short notice, i.e. by the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2014?
Of course. If we start inmediately.
What do you estimate the costs for the prototype or the final implementation of your idea to be?
A very reasonable buget because it is based on existing technology. The only custom design is the molded plastic, or molded or casted aluminum, or maybe carbon fiber pole and base which, of course, has to be refined.
